LawRex is committed to protecting your privacy. In order to provide our venue to you, we use information collected about you while still protecting your privacy. Expecting future variations in our service, these policies are subject to change. 1. Collection of Information

When you register with LawRex, you are asked to provide, among other things, your name, firm name, email address, zip code, phone numbers, other contact information, law licensure information, practice area(s), malpractice insurance information, information related to your practice, and how you heard about LawRex. In the course of your use of the LawRex website, we may require additional information about you. 

When you access or view the LawRex web pages, we may automatically track certain information including your IP address, what browser you are using, and the URL you just came from. We also collect information about your use of our site in order to optimize our site usability. 

We may use computer cookies to assist users in navigating through the LawRex web pages more efficiently. Third party affiliates may also use computer cookies on the LawRex web pages for the purpose of tracking leads. A computer cookie is a text file that resides on your hard drive. At various times when you visit our site, your computer may be required to provide the computer cookie from your browser so that you can access various LawRex web pages. The cookie may be linked to a unique number which may allow us to detect your user ID and preferences. Knowing how you use and navigate through the LawRex web pages enables us to better tailor content and services to your needs.

Our computer cookies do not contain information that others could use to personally identify you, and other websites should not be able to access the information we store on your computer. Most computer cookies are "session cookies," meaning that they are automatically deleted at specified intervals or on the occurrence of certain events. You may be required to set your browser to accept computer cookies to be able to access some parts of the LawRex website.

2. Use of Information

The primary reason that LawRex collects information from users is to help manage and administer the LawRex website in a way that is beneficial to our users. 

LawRex does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We may use your information to improve our services or marketing or to statistically analyze site usage, and improve LawRex's website content or layout. Your computer IP address may be used to diagnose problems with computer servers and for security purposes. LawRex may provide aggregate statistics about our users, traffic patterns, and related website information to third-party vendors, but these statistics will include not include information about your personal identifying information. 

LawRex may use the information it collects to notify you about the status of your account, changes to the LawRex website, new services, and/or offers or information you might find valuable. LawRex may also contact you to verify your information or ask you about your experiences with our website. 

You may "opt out" of receiving certain communications via email from LawRex. You may not opt out of receiving email from LawRex concerning issues such as: (1) confirmation of registration, (2) notification that your registration has been approved or rejected, (3) requests or other correspondence regarding billing issues, and (4) communications regarding account activity or inactivity or compliance with any rules, terms or laws of LawRex or any applicable state of Federal government.

To opt out of non-required communications you can simply (1) log in to LawRex and select the checkbox that says that you wish to opt out of receiving emails from LawRex or (2) follow the link provided by LawRex in any email that specifies how to opt out of receiving emails. 

When it is necessary to contact you, LawRex may use your email address and, in some situations your mailing address, phone or fax number. Note: LawRex will never ask for your password. Do not disclose your password if asked by a caller claiming to represent LawRex or its affiliates. 
There are some situations in which your personal information may be disclosed to third parties, including:

• Placing a referral over the LawRex Network
Your name and contact information will be disclosed to the participating user who is selected to receive the referral.

• Showing interest in a referral
Your full profile will be disclosed to the referring attorney if you are among the members who show the highest interest in a referral.

• Referral fees associated with a posted referral
Your name and contact information may be disclosed to another LawRex user upon request by that user if the other user can demonstrate or LawRex's records reflect that you either placed a referral which required payment of a referral fee using the LawRex website or you were awarded a referral which required payment of a referral fee using the LawRex website.

• Violation of ethical or other rules or laws
There may be cases where LawRex is required or obligated to turn over your name, contact, and other information to third parties, such as government agencies. These disclosures may arise in the context of complying with any law, to enforce or apply the terms of any of our user or subscription agreements, or to protect the rights, property or safety of LawRex, our users, or others.

• Payment or other circumstances
There may be situations when it is necessary for LawRex to disclose your information to third parties, such as credit card vendors, merchant account banks, etc.
 Except for the information referred to above, user's contact information (i.e. address, telephone, fax, or e-mail) is never revealed to attorneys or other users. 
LawRex may also develop business partnerships with other companies, as part of our service to users. These special business partnerships may include acquisitions by or mergers with other companies or special joint ventures that integrate our websites and services. 
Whenever LawRex shares personally identifying information with a partner, we will do so confidentiality and require use restrictions on the information.

3. Consent and Changes to This Policy

By using the LawRex website, you consent to the collection and use of this information by LawRex. If we change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
